This board was looking painfully empty, so I thought I'd start a thread or two for future chit-chatting! Personally I could never pick just one author that I love. Growing up I was a big fan of Erin Hunter (who is actually three writers!) and I've particularly enjoyed the writing of authors like David Clements-Davies (whose name I may have misspelled), Andrzej Sapkowski (A polish writer, but some of his works have been translated into English and other languages), Terry Pratchett, Charles de Lint, Jonathan Maberry and Ellen Hopkins.
Who do you love?

I really like David Clements-Davies. Erin Hunter was an author I read very often but these days I've tried to expand what I read. I really liked the Horsemisteress Trilogy and the Wild Road and The Golden Cat. I currently don't have anything I'm reading at the moment though. Tailchaser's Song was also a good one.

Recently I've been enjoying Pseudonymous Bosch's work. I only have one of his books from his Secret series, but I absolutely love how playful and witty his writing is!

I've become rather fond of Erin Morgenstern. Her writing style is really beautiful and her first novel, The Night Circus, is just fantastic.
